We had a short trip from Boca Grande to Captiva so we waited for the winds to die down. In order to get into the marina we had to go around the dock and back in to our slip. The wind wasn't too bad when we arrived.

Captiva was another resort location where we had a key card to access all the facilities which included a pool and hot tub. We ate at the Shipyard restaurants that we could get reservations for. The on-site restaurants at Tween Waters were very popular and you needed reservations.

The second day we walked past the hurricane ravaged Bubble Room. Laura purchased a the famous Orange Slice cake at a next door satelite restaurant.

Laura convinced Ted to take a walk on the beach. Laura walked at least an hour a day on the white sandy beach.

The winds were stronger when we left. We didn't get fuel on arrival, and regretted it when we left and needed to get fuel. Many of the boats backed out to make the tight manuever. We planned a forward exit, and the boat next to us watched and said they would follow our lead. When we were getting fuel, we watched them exit successfully and we waved them on!
