In Love with Little Falls Canal Harbor, NY (#16)

We loved our time in Little Falls, NY. We planned to stay a day, and we stayed four. We now have a 5 star location on our trip.

On our route we went through seven locks, including Lock 17, the largest lock on the Erie canal raising 40 ft. The next day we went and looked at other Loopers doing the lock to get tips and tricks on their techniques.

This was Ted the day before as we transited to Lock 17.

From behind the lock closes like a guillotine.

On our way we stopped at St. Johnsville for fuel and a pumpout. After we left here a new friend got stuck in this marina after hitting a sandbar with their sailboat. We didn't have any issues and had a smooth in and out.

After we arrived Laura took a quick walk to tour this quaint little town.

The views were spectacular.

And we realized we didn't take as many pictures as we would have liked. We were just having so much fun. We stayed through Laura's birthday. With the four days, we were able to meet four different sets of Loopers that we will see on later stops along our trip.

This is the town Courthouse.

We found out Thursdays were the Car Show, and all boats could be entered in the contest.

Ted cleaned our boat and Snoopy was ready!

We had the most perfect height to step onto our boat.

And we won the contest!
