Quarantine in Canada and Kingston (#20)

Planning to enter Canada by boat is interesting. In order to enter, you must call customs and declare what you are bringing into Canada. There are restrictions for food, alcohol, and cannabis. They ask you about all three when you arrive. We were able to call in and get checked in easily.

Arrival in Kingston was a bit trickier than expected. The winds gust were strong enough that in order to dock we needed to use additional power from our engines. Because we have two engines and the throttle is different from forward and reverse, moving in tight situations can be difficult. Laura has been docking the boat and driving in the locks. However, with these strong gusts she handed the driving over to Ted. We docked safely. We also assisted fellow Loopers who were having challenges with docking.
